KC
The maker of Plaro
Home cook with too many recipes

I had the same problem as you: recipes scattered across WhatsApp groups, Instagram saves, loose screenshots and bookmarks that lead nowhere. Every Sunday I thought "this week I'm going to plan it" — and every Tuesday I was standing in the supermarket with no idea what to make.

So I started building Plaro. First just for myself. Then for friends. Now for everyone who recognises the same thing.

It's not finished yet — but it works. And with your feedback it gets better every week.

Frequently asked questions

About the beta, your data, and what to expect

The core features work — saving recipes, planning your week, generating shopping lists — but Plaro is still in full development. That means you might occasionally come across something that isn't perfect yet. On the other hand: your feedback directly determines what gets improved.

Yes. Your recipes and data are stored securely and we share nothing with third parties. You can export your data at any time or delete your account. Your data stays yours.

Creating an account takes 30 seconds. Adding your first recipe another minute. You don't need to move everything over at once — start with a few favourites and build your collection when it suits you.

Yes! Plaro works in any mobile browser. You can add the website to your home screen for an app-like experience. A native app is on the roadmap.

You can always export your recipes as PDF or CSV. But we're not going anywhere — Plaro is in active development and we share our plans openly with beta users.
